Pregnancy Loss Support

Pregnancy loss can affect more than the reproductive system.

Whether the loss was unexpected, medically necessary, early, late, private, or complicated — the body and nervous system often continue processing long after the event itself.

Some women feel grief.
Some feel relief mixed with emotion.
Some feel nothing at first and only later notice changes in their body, sleep, mood, or cycle.

There is no single correct emotional response.

This space is not about explanation or judgment.
It is about support.

What Women Often Notice Afterward

In the weeks or months following a loss, women may experience:

• cycle changes
• pelvic heaviness or tightness
• increased cramping
• sleep disruption
• emotional sensitivity
• difficulty relaxing the lower abdomen
• a sense the body feels “held” or guarded

Even when medical recovery is complete, the body may still be carrying tension.

Why the Body Can Hold Tension

The uterus and pelvic region are closely connected to the nervous system’s protective response.

After a significant physical or emotional event, the body may:

• increase muscular guarding in the abdomen
• remain in a heightened stress state
• hold protective tension in the pelvic area
• change cycle rhythm temporarily

This is not a sign of something being wrong.
It is a common protective response.

How Sessions May Support You

Sessions do not replace medical or counseling care.

They also do not attempt to process emotions for you.

Instead, sessions provide gentle body-based support so the nervous system and pelvic muscles can relax.

Sessions may help by:

• reducing abdominal guarding
• calming stress response patterns
• encouraging pelvic circulation
• helping the body feel safe to soften again

Some women describe the experience as allowing their body to finally exhale.

This care is complementary and works alongside any medical or therapeutic support you choose.

When Women Reach Out

Women commonly seek support:

• weeks after a miscarriage
• months or years after a loss
• after a medical termination
• when cycles feel different afterward
• when preparing for a future pregnancy
• when the body still feels tense despite healing

There is no required timeline.

You are welcome whenever you feel ready.

Your First Visit

Your first session begins with a conversation about comfort, not details.

You are never required to share more than you wish.

Sessions are gentle and external.
Nothing is done without explanation or consent.

The goal is to help your body feel safe and settled again.

Next Step

If your body has felt different since a pregnancy loss and you would like supportive care, beginning with a session is an appropriate starting point.

All clients begin with a Womb Healing Session.
