There are moments when the questions you're carrying require more than reflection. You may be facing an important decision, experiencing a repeating pattern, seeking direction around your spiritual path, or simply know that it is time to seek spiritual guidance. On the Mat is a private spiritual experience with Yeyẹ́sìndé, an initiated Ìyánífá, Ọ̀ṣun priestess, and Ẹgbẹ́ priestess. Rooted in Ifá and Yorùbá spiritual tradition, this experience creates an opportunity to receive divination, spiritual counsel, prayer, and make an offering at the appropriate shrine. Your Time on the Mat Your experience begins with divination centered around the reason you have come. Together, we will explore what is revealed and the guidance being offered. Your time may also include prayer and the preparation and presentation of an offering. Depending upon the purpose of your visit and what is revealed, your experience may involve Ifá, Ọ̀ṣun, Ajé, or Ẹgbẹ́. You do not need to know which shrine you should work with before you arrive. The spiritual work is guided by what brings you to the mat, what is revealed through divination, and what is appropriate within the tradition. On the Mat is not a general wellness session. It is intentionally created for those seeking spiritual guidance and an experience rooted in Ifá and Yorùbá tradition.
